Carhartt have consciously updated a core style - the Classic Vest - through the use of 12 oz 100% organic ‘Dearborn’ cotton canvas with a water repellent finish, seen here in a solid black colourway. The arm holes have been generously cut and the back of the hem has been dropped, resulting in more coverage whilst the neckline has a ribbed bomber jacket style trim, the shoulder seams have been brought forward and a golden customised zip-through front sits below. Adding extra warmth and supplying premium comfort, a quilted lining runs throughout and a hidden internal pocket has been added to the left side of the chest. A shaped kangaroo pocket has been split between the two sides and a small woven Carhartt WIP label has been added on top.

The Classic Vest from Carhartt is a versatile and durable all year-round essential style, designed to be layered upon a selection of pieces to suit the season; pair with a long sleeve shirt throughout the cooler spring months or wear underneath a waterproof shell during winter. The simplistic cut gives centre stage to the super tough cotton canvas which for SS19 has been updated to an organic variety.
